Additional Details – Re: Security, Confidentiality and Online Services:
If you require your counselling or hypnotherapy sessions online it is essential that you have a quiet, safe and secure room where you can be alone and not be overhead for the duration of the session. It is important to have a computer or laptop to work from that has good quality security, a working webcam, audio speakers and has been fully charged and is also plugged in during the session. This will prevent interruption to your important sessions especially if we are doing techniques that can cause reactions.
We also recommend having water next to you as this will help with easing any dehydrated you may have after talking and doing hypnotherapy work. Also having tissues available is important due to the nature of what reactions counselling and hypnotherapy can do. By having all these items within arms reach helps you not having to leave the room and interrupt your own session.
I offer Zoom and FaceTime as a way of having your online counselling / therapy because they are end to end encrypted and have been shown to be a very safe medium to work in with counselling, although we cannot always guarantee complete confidentiality. When starting online sessions you are agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions as mentioned and as those mentioned in the contract example shown below.
